“Agua by Agua Bendita designs timeless, high quality pieces that can be worn time and time again,” says Emily Gittins, CEO and Co-founder at Archive.
“We’re extremely proud to partner with the brand and to power Ciclos, giving shoppers an easy way to give their Agua by Agua Bendita pieces a second life and, ultimately, help create a more sustainable, circular fashion economy”.
“We seek to strike a balance between the past and the future. As a forward looking brand, we recognise the importance of imbuing social and environmental responsibility into everything we do.”
“Through Ciclos, we vow to give our garments a second life and honour our promise of environmental responsibility,” say Hinestroza and Álvarez.
Funding round
At the tail end of last yea, Archive announced a $15 million Series A fundraise led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Bain Capital Ventures and several minority investors.
This brought the firm’s total funding to over $24 million. In addition to the raise, Alex Taussig, Partner at Lightspeed, joined the company’s board of directors.
This fresh instalment of capital is supporting hiring across engineering and brand success teams to help Archive continue to scale its technology and integrations, and accelerate upcoming launches across North America and Europe.
