“ReWrap makes room for everyone – those who have loved DVF over the years can give their pieces new life and younger generations can discover pieces from the past,” says von Furstenberg.

“We are so excited about the launch of ReWrap,” says Talita von Furstenberg, Co-Chairwoman, DVF. “The site has been created to celebrate DVF’s unique history, with imagery from our iconic archives and a name that specifically honors the wrap dress.”

“DVF is renowned worldwide for its iconic prints, silhouettes, special pieces and, of course, the peerless jersey wrap dress,” comments Emily Gittins, CEO and Co-founder at Archive.

“We are honoured to power ReWrap and give the DVF community an engaging and personalised way to enjoy and extend the life of the brand’s timeless pieces. As resale continues to evolve, brands like DVF are leading the way by creating unique, thoughtful and personalised resale experiences.”

Funding news

Archive’s technology platform powers a range of customisable business models that enable brands to launch and scale fully branded recommerce channels.

Late last year, it announced a $15 million Series A fundraise led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Bain Capital Ventures and several minority investors.

This brought the firm’s total funding to over $24 million. In addition to the raise, Alex Taussig, Partner at Lightspeed, joined the company’s board of directors.

This fresh instalment of capital is supporting hiring across engineering and brand success teams to help Archive continue to scale its technology and integrations, and accelerate launches across North America and Europe.

“Resale is a massive online category already and growing three times as fast as new apparel sales,” said Taussig.

“Archive has become the standard of choice for well known brands from Oscar de la Renta to The North Face, that want to embed resale into their supply chain. They have quickly built the best in class solution to integrate resale across all shopping channels and distribution operations.”

“Lightspeed was fortunate to co-lead Archive’s Seed round earlier this year, and we’re delighted to deepen our partnership and lead the company’s Series A.”
