Brain Corp, working with Tennant, has completed the deployment of over 40 autonomous in-store scrubbers with the Czech Republic’s Albert, part of the Ahold Delhaize company.

“After an extensive phase of research, we elected to deploy BrainOS powered Tennant autonomous scrubbers, which proved to be the most effective machines for operating efficiently and safely in our stores,” says Pavel Klemera, Operations Support Manager at Albert Czech Republic.

“The roll-out has been seamless and the advanced robotic scrubbers are easy for our team to operate, creating a high level of consistent and trackable cleaning, which ensures that our customers enjoy a comfortable and pleasant shopping experience.”

“We pride ourselves on producing automated machines that prioritise ease of use for the teams using them and in deploying these machines quickly and efficiently all across the world,” says Bruno Ferraty, Strategic Account Manager EMEA at Tennant Company.

“With this partnership, we have seen the best of these, with a rapid and well coordinated roll-out and Albert’s in-store teams welcoming the introduction of robotic co-workers able to take over the mundane and repetitive cleaning tasks.”

“Albert stores’ introduction of autonomous robots is a great example of how retailers are using technology to support their workforces and enhance in-store operations,” adds Michel Spruijt, Chief Revenue Officer at Brain Corp.

2022 RTIH Innovation Awards

Brain Corp has been shortlisted in the Bricks and Mortar Innovation category at the 2022 RTIH Innovation Awards.

Deep North, Jigsaw and Mercaux, MiniGo, Musgrave and Pricer, Nudie Jeans and Sitoo, Ribble Cycles, and Sook are also in the running.

The winner will be revealed at an exclusive event in central London on Tuesday, 6th December.

RTIH Editor, Scott Thompson, says: “Innovation and technology play a critical role in the success of the retail sector, so it is great to recognise standout examples through our awards.”

“Thanks to all those who have entered the 2022 event. We received a record number of submissions and many fantastic examples of the continued resilience and dynamism of the retail space during hugely challenging times.”

“I’m now looking forward to deciding the winners with our judging panel and announcing them at our central London event in December.”
