Canada Goose will expand its U.S. store roster with the addition of two new permanent locations, in Las Vegas and Denver, in addition to hosting pop-up shops in Aspen, Colo. and the Detroit area.

The Las Vegas Canada Goose location will open Nov. 5 within The Shops at Wynn and Encore. Customers will be encouraged to test Canada Goose’s products in the brand’s Snow Room, which allows visitors to experience temperatures as low as -10°F and a daily snowfall. The Snow Room concept launched in October 2021 at the brand’s first California store, at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.

The stores will feature sculptures by Inuit artists and creators to relay a sense of the relationship between people and earth. The brand notes that this relationship is central to its mission of keeping “the planet cold and the people on it warm.”

Canada Goose commissioned work from Inuit artist Gayle Uyagaqi Kabloona for its Las Vegas location. In her piece Uvagut, meaning “All of Us,” Kabloona depicts hands reaching upward, paying homage to Inuit craftsmanship.

In December, Canada Goose will open a location at Denver’s Cherry Creek Shopping Center that will feature two works by artist Jordan Bennett.

Canada Goose’s Aspen pop-up shop will open on East Hyman Avenue, a shopping destination known for luxury fashion. The Detroit area pop-up location will launch in Troy, Mich. at Somerset Collection. Both pop-up shops are scheduled to open by the end of 2022.

A full assortment of Canada Goose products for men, women and children, including parkas, lightweight jackets, rainwear, apparel, accessories and footwear will be available at the new stores. Collaborations and special capsules will be available at each location, and the Las Vegas and Aspen stores also will sell City Toques, the brand’s knitted beanies that feature the name of each city.

“This season’s openings across the U.S. are an invitation to experience our beloved brand, powerful product and exceptional experience, firsthand,” said Carrie Baker, President of Canada Goose in a statement. “They offer an opportunity to own a piece of the luxury of Canada. Each of these cities are iconic in their own right and are the perfect locations to help us reach new heights and audiences.”
